Truly she has the soul of a lioness, our marmalade tabby. Full grown, she's a tiny cat, yet I've watched her defy a hawk. 'Innana' named after The Sumerian Goddess of Love & War
A most loving cat, she fostered Inanna, even though she'd never had kittens of her own. She stands guard when we're ill, & purrs us to sleep when we're tired. 'Isis' named after The Egyptian Goddess of Love & Fertility
Not every cat has a name that fits: we should have named him Bacchus. He lives large, from a booming purr to his love of all life's pleasures: good food, a comfy place to sleep, and humans to pet him. 'Loki' named after The Norse God of Mischief

My Cats I never thought I would live with more than one cat at a time, yet here I am with 4 feisty felines. I'm learning how different each cat is from another, how they learn to live together, and most important, how loving they can be. But my favorite times are when they make me laugh. I laugh for sheer joy at seeing them play. I laugh because they are curious about everything. I laugh at the strange places and positions they sleep in. And I laugh because I see my foibles reflected in their behavior.

It's raining harder. More birds will hide above us. How does the latch work?

New rule: Don't look too closely at the rescued cats up for adoption. But how could I resist a kitten who reached out to me, purred, and 'kneaded dough' in ecstasy when I petted him? 'Brand' named after Brandobaris Foxtail The Halfling God of Stealth
