Batik Dragon Quilt
My Current Project
This is a partial view of a wall hanging I made for a
charity auction sponsored by the fans of the TV
series Firefly. It is hand and machine appliqued,
trapunto quilted, painted, and beaded.
22" x 22", titled "Leaving Whitefall"
Girls & Cats
I made this
quilt for
Project Linus,
after we
received a
request for a
quilt for a
tween-age
girl with a
fondness for
cats. It's not
my usual
colors or
fabric, but it
was fun to
make!

Sandy's Sunflower Quilt
I designed this from a photo I took.
The sunflower is made from batik flannel,
as a raw-edge appliqué. There is a fairy in the
lower corner, and dragonflies fly around as part
of the machine quilting design.
This batik dragon panel languished in my
fabric stash for several years. Looking for
something to put on the back of a quilt, I found
it. This is now the front of the quilt!
